Nah, it lets me upload pics - but I've been able to uploads pics that have been downloaded as userpics by me - not pics that I keep in pic form. No matter what amount of pixels or space they take. And I have been wanting to use the Ravenclaw for long - but I do not want to get rid of any present ones in lj either...

Anyway this has me mystified. And since I'm not widely friended over here, it has not become the time-suck you promised :D. but one needs various routes of escape, doesn't one?
